The July 2016 Beach Babe Half Marathon in Long Beach, CA is an oceanfront course along running trails and paved beach paths, limited to 500 runners. The event is put on by the California Girl Series, and has a BBQ at the finish. Visit the California Half Marathons page for a direct link.
